This antique violin is a high-quality, handcrafted student instrument, which was built in the Vogtland or even directly in Markneukirchen.
A yellow-brown spirit varnish ensures a pretty appearance. The transparent varnish, with its few traces of use, protects the beautifully flamed maple back, the sides, the scroll and the finely aged spruce top in the best possible way. Despite its age of around 90 years, the violin is in very good condition. It is a recommendable, solid instrument for students and convinces with its warm, clear sound and pleasantly easy response.
In the workshop of UEBEL - since 1725 in Celle, Lower Saxony, the instrument was thoroughly checked and fitted with new ebony pegs, a new bridge, strings and tailpiece.
After the revision, the antique stringed instrument is now perfectly set up and ready to play.
You are welcome to test it in the business premises of UEBEL - since 1725 or pick it up for a test play by arrangement.
