Beschreibung:
This charming violin was handcrafted around 1850 in Mittenwald, Bavaria. The antique instrument is made in the traditional Mittenwald style and has the typical closed lower frame.
The maple back is in one piece with a light, fine flame. The maple frames are unflamed. The hand-carved lion's head and the interesting lacquer finish make the violin a real gem.
There is an old repair on the finely aged spruce top, but this is not in the tuning area.
Due to its flat arching, the violin has a sustaining sound, its response is easy, the tone is warm and mature. The beautiful instrument was checked and made ready to play in the specialist workshop of UEBEL - since 1725 .
You will be welcomed to the Celle business premises for a personal audition.
